A small group of Dutch EV enthusiasts have completed a 24 hour road trip challenge with a Nissan Leaf electric vehicle.
Using fast charging infrastructure capable of fully charging the 24 kWh Leaf battery in 20 minutes, the team drove in shifts for 24 hours straight to see how far they could travel in a day. Despite some heavy traffic they covered 1254 kilometers (783 miles) mostly at highway speeds.
